The NOR will be published ASAP. We look forward to great participation from FE sailors world wide. February 17, 2006 : New web site for the 2006 USWA Nationals. The web site for the 2006 Nationals is up: http://www.mauinationals.com. Here are the NOR and the registration form. February 11, 2006 : The 2006 FE PanAmericans are in Hood River this summer.[from Scotia Bauer, VMG events] The date of the event is July 13-16. Sailworks is running a racing clinic July 10-12 which should be great (Bruce will be sending out information on that soon) and also we're running the Gorge Blowout (a legendary 17 mile downwind race from Stevenson, WA to the Hood River Event Site) and the Jr. Blowout (a 7 mile downwinder from Viento, OR to the Hood River Event Site, to be run either July 8 or 9. So, we've got a great week of fun leading up to the event, so hopefully you'll be able to come for the whole time. Accommodations are always a bit challenging here in the summer, so if you are planning on coming, I would start looking now. I think the most economical way to go for groups and families is to look at the vacation homes. There are 2 companies who handle that: Hood River Vacation Rentals (www.hrvacations.com) and Gorge Central Reservations (www.gorgeres.com). We're still trying to figure out the
charter situation, so I can't offer any information there, but please know that
we're working on it. December 12, 2005 : The dates for the USWA Nationals on Maui have changed (as of today!) They are now scheduled for the 7-11th of August. There is a calendar of all the Maui race series races at http://www.mauiwindsurfing.org. |
